Michael Haraway

Michael Haraway has extensive experience in human resources and management, currently serving as the Human Resources Manager/Risk Manager for the City of Commerce since October 2016. Previously, Michael held various HR leadership roles, including Administrative Manager I for the County of Orange and Sr. Human Resources Officer for the County of San Diego's Health and Human Services Agency, overseeing HR activities for multiple regions and facilities with a collective workforce of 1,269 employees. Michael's career also includes positions as Employment Investigator for the City of San Diego and Audits Project Manager for the State Bar. Michael's foundational experience began at the San Diego County Health Services and the San Diego Community College District, complemented by an MBA from San Diego State University.
