Heather Hurlbert

Heather Hurlbert is a seasoned professional in finance and management with extensive experience in government and private sectors. Currently serving as Assistant City Manager for the City of Corpus Christi since March 2020, Heather has also held roles such as Interim Assistant City Manager, Economic Development Director, and Finance Director within the same organization. In addition to this role, Heather is the Owner and CFO of Texas Edge Realty since January 2021. Previous experience includes Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance for the City of San Marcos, CPA at Steven Bankler, CPA, Ltd., Financial Reporting and Budgeting Manager at Taco Cabana, Retail Controller at Team Simpson Racing, and Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. Heather obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Accounting from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
