Lyn Dedmon

Lyn Dedmon currently serves as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of La Mesa, CA, since June 2022, where responsibilities include supporting the City Manager with policy implementation, overseeing various budgets, and managing sustainability efforts related to the Climate Action Plan. Previous positions include Senior Management Analyst in the City Manager's Office for La Mesa, as well as similar roles in the City of Beverly Hills and City of Vista, with a focus on public works and administrative support. Lyn Dedmon began a career in municipal management in 1998 with the City of Escondido, contributing to various community development initiatives and analysis. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Urban and Regional Planning from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, a Master of Business Administration in Finance Management from National University, and an Associate of Arts from Grossmont College.
