Aysia Muzquiz

Aysia Muzquiz is a Geographic Information Systems Analyst II at the City of Dallas since June 2022, previously serving as a GIS Intern. Aysia's responsibilities include researching and expanding datasets, building and updating GIS datasets and REST services, data collection in the field, quality review of data, and organizing GIS databases. Prior experience includes working as an HPS IT GIS Specialist at the University of North Texas, providing GIS support to faculty and students, and completing semester research projects analyzing the spatial distribution of opioid addiction and bike route research. Aysia holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and a certification in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from the University of North Texas.
