Fernando Villarreal

Fernando Villarreal, P. E. has extensive experience in traffic safety engineering and mobility planning, currently serving as Senior Program Manager for Traffic Safety Engineering and previously as Senior Engineer for Mobility Planning at the City of Dallas since May 2018. Prior to that, Fernando worked at the City of Carrollton as Public Works Manager and Transportation Engineer from May 2008 to January 2018, and at Halff Associates as a Civil Engineer from May 2007 to February 2008. Fernando began a career at Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) as Mobility Programs Manager between September 2002 and April 2007. Fernando holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, earned between 1986 and 1992.
