Cordaryl Patrick has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as an Admissions Counselor/Recruiter at Rust College. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Teacher's Assistant at the Normandy School District. Cordaryl then transitioned to the City of Dellwood, where they served as the Public Services Director from 2011 to 2013 and later as the City Administrator from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, they joined the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership as an Assistant Vice President, Community Investment, where they worked until 2020. Currently, Cordaryl serves as the Community Development Director for the City of Decatur, Illinois.

Cordaryl Patrick is a highly educated individual with a solid foundation in academia. Cordaryl obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Rust College in 2008. Building upon this, they further pursued their education at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis where they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy Administration in 2011.
