Jon Kindseth

Jon Kindseth serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Decatur, Illinois, since September 2019, providing oversight for municipal services and assisting the City Manager in achieving the goals of the Mayor and Council. With extensive experience in municipal management, Kindseth previously held roles such as Village Administrator for the Village of Beach Park and Assistant to the City Manager in Highwood. Additionally, Kindseth owns Kindseth Construction, a residential property management company, demonstrating a practical understanding of property management and development. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science in Politics and Government from Illinois State University.
