Gregory Reihing

Gregory Reihing possesses extensive experience in security planning and emergency management, currently serving as Security Planner & Procurement Administrator for the City of Decatur since March 2015, overseeing procurement and the RFP bidding process. Previously, Gregory held the role of Facilities Security Coordinator, where responsibilities included planning and implementing security measures for city facilities. Gregory's prior experience with the Georgia Emergency Management Agency as a Critical Infrastructure Protection Specialist involved enhancing state infrastructure security, and as a Grants Compliance Analyst, Gregory ensured compliance with federal grant guidelines. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Administration in Disaster Policy & Emergency Management from Georgia State University and a BA in International Relations and Philosophy from Bates College. Additional positions include roles in tutoring, volunteering with the Atlanta Red Cross, and assisting at PBS NewsHour.
