Brandon Gleaton is an experienced professional in community development and philanthropy, currently serving with the City of Detroit on the Master Plan Advisory Group and as a Fellow for Southern Progress at Grantmakers for Southern Progress. Gleaton has held the position of Program Officer at Borealis Philanthropy, focusing on grassroots organizing against money bail and pretrial detention policies. Additional roles include participation on several grant selection and advisory committees, and executive leadership at the Hazel Park Promise Zone & College Access Network. With a Master's degree in Public Administration and Public Policy from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Education from Wayne State University, Brandon Gleaton is committed to increasing equity and access in education and community initiatives throughout Michigan.
