Dr. Claudia Richardson, MD, MPH has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Claudia currently serves as the Medical Director at the City of Detroit. Prior to this role, they worked at the Roanoke Chowan Community Health Center, where they held the positions of Physician and Chief Medical Officer. Claudia also served as the Medical Director at Planned Parenthood of Maryland, Inc. and OIC of Rocky Mount, Inc. - In 1989-1993, they attended Wayne State University School of Medicine and obtained a Certificate in Postgraduate Training/Residency in OB/Gyn.
- From 1981-1985, they studied at Duke University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General (BA).
- In 1997-2003, they pursued their MPH (Master of Public Health) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, specializing in Practice and Leadership.
- From 1985-1989, they attended The Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University and received their MD (Doctor of Medicine) degree.
- In 1979, they also participated in the Governor's School West and focused on Natural Science.
