Maggie Chen

Maggie Chen is an experienced executive manager currently working for the City of Detroit since February 2019, previously serving as an Executive Manager for Data and Reporting at the Detroit Department of Transportation. With a strong background in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Maggie has led various process improvement projects and driven a cultural shift towards continuous improvement within departments. Prior roles include Lean Consultant for the Office of the Mayor in Detroit, where Maggie conducted Lean Six Sigma training and developed performance metrics across multiple city departments, and Corporate Project Engineer at Meridian Lightweight Technologies, where Maggie implemented Six Sigma and Lean concepts. Maggie holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan, completed in 2013.
