Tamra Hardy

Tamra Hardy serves as the Director of the Neighborhood Services Division at the City of Detroit since August 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, strategic grant making, and community development training. Previous roles include Director of Family Services and Compliance and Risk at Habitat for Humanity Detroit, where Tamra managed housing placement processes and ensured program compliance. Additional experience encompasses positions as Compliance and Risk Officer, Program Associate at the Kresge Foundation, and Program Assistant/Specialist at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, with a strong background in grantmaking. Educational pursuits include a Master’s in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University.
