Barbara Burkholder

Events Administrator Liaison at City of Dublin, Ohio

Barbara Burkholder has extensive experience in events administration and recreation management, currently serving as an Events Administrator liaison for the City of Dublin Events Administration Office since January 2012, where Barbara developed the Irish Authors Corner for the Dublin Irish Festival. In addition, Barbara has held the role of Special Projects Administrator since October 2008, leading CAPRA Accreditation efforts and coordinating special events such as The Dublin Irish Festival and Independence Day celebrations. With a long tenure at The City of Dublin dating back to 1989, Barbara's responsibilities have included project management, partnership development, and program development for special needs. Prior experience includes serving as Director at the Palms Recreation Center in Los Angeles and as a Recreation Leader in Columbus, Ohio. Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a minor in Political Science from The Ohio State University, alongside additional studies at Santa Monica College, West Los Angeles City College, and UCLA.
