Jorge M. Quintas, P.E., currently serves as the Deputy City Manager for the City of Dunedin since May 2014, overseeing various departments including Parks & Recreation, Fire/Rescue, and Public Works & Utilities. Prior roles include serving as the Public Works & Utilities Director/City Engineer and Director of Engineering & Technical Support for Pinellas County. With extensive experience in public works and civil engineering, positions held range from Director of Operations to Interim Director within Pinellas County, and various engineering roles in private sector firms. Jorge M. Quintas holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Florida.

Dunedin is recognized as a vibrant Main Street City offering quaint retail stores, art galleries, antique shops, restaurants, and breweries. The Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail, a 38.2 mile recreational trail stretching from north to south Pinellas County, runs through the heart of downtown. Dunedin also has an active merchants association that works with the City to sponsor many events that bring residents and visitors to the area including Mardi Gras, Dunedin Wines the Blues, and the Arts and Crafts Festival.
