John H Cox

John H. Cox is a highly experienced Water Quality Manager with a tenure at the City of Durham since 1996, overseeing a work group of 14 and typically two part-time positions. In previous roles as Civil Engineer III and II, John directed water quality programs and managed the city's Stormwater Services Division, preparing NPDES reports and initiating the "State of Our Streams" annual reports. Prior project engineering experience includes working on wastewater treatment plant expansions for HDR and representing clients in significant environmental meetings during Tenure with CDM Smith. John holds a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia.
