Natalia Velasquez

Natalia Velasquez serves as the Chief Building Official (CBO) for the City of Edinburg since June 2016, bringing extensive experience in building inspection and code enforcement from previous roles in various Texas cities. Prior to their current position, Velasquez worked as a Building Inspector for the City of Alton and held similar roles in Pearland, McAllen, and Mission, where Natalia performed field inspections and plans examinations. Additionally, Velasquez has experience as an Electrical Estimator with NEG Electric and is a certified Master Electrician. Velasquez holds a degree in General Studies with an emphasis on Electrical from South Texas College.
