Joshua Thompson

Joshua Thompson is an experienced professional currently serving as a City Councilmember for the City of Ellensburg, having been elected with approximately 75% of the vote in November 2023. Prior to this role, Joshua worked as a Senior IT Operations Analyst at The Channel Company from January 2021 to July 2025, focusing on internal systems management. Previous roles include over nine years at Audienz Marketing, first as a Technical Marketing Consultant, then as Technical Marketing Manager, and ultimately as Senior Technical Manager, where Joshua managed IT systems and technical projects. Joshua co-founded Tripket, a travel-based social media platform, and Deep Cello Coffee Roasters, a white label coffee brand. Earlier experience includes a contract position as a Support Engineer at Siemens for Microsoft’s Office division. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics from Eastern Oregon University.
