Courtney Welch

Courtney Welch is the Mayor and City Council Member at the City of Emeryville since December 2021. Courtney is also the Founder of Courtney CSR, providing corporate social responsibility consulting. Courtney has experience in various roles such as Chair of the Alameda County Housing and Community Development Advisory Board, Director of Policy and Communications at Bay Area Community Land Trust, and Content Moderator at Vaco. With a background in business administration and corporate communications, Courtney has been involved in community building, affordable housing programs, grant writing, and social impact strategies within Black communities.
