J. Dichoso, MCP, AICP, is a seasoned urban planning professional with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving as a Senior City Planner for the City of Encinitas since September 1996, J. Dichoso has previously held various positions, including Associate City Planner and Assistant City Planner within the same city government. J. Dichoso's early career included roles at URS Corporation as a Community/Military Planner and GIS Analyst, as well as a Regional Planning Intern at SANDAG. Educational credentials include a Master of City Planning from San Diego State University and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego.
