Lindsey Silas, MPH, currently serves as Vice President of the Minneapolis Professional Employees Association since March 2024 and has been a Senior City Planner and previously a City Planner for the City of Minneapolis since July 2016, where responsibilities include analyzing land use applications and recommending policy changes to the City Planning Commission and City Council. Lindsey's prior experience includes founding Biking in Mpls, serving as Wellness & Quality Content Manager at Novu LLC, and holding various roles in project coordination and research at organizations like University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota's Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center. Lindsey holds a Master of Public Health in Community Health Promotion and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Minnesota.
