Samantha Sonnich is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in community health and wellness. Currently serving as a Community Health Program Specialist with the County of San Diego since September 2017, Samantha has also held positions such as Community Health Promotion Specialist and Temporary Expert Professional within the Health Promotion Unit. In addition, Samantha coordinates nutrition programs for the City of Encinitas and has previously interned with the UC San Diego Center for Community Health, focusing on health promotion for low-wage workers. Earlier experiences include roles at Loyola Marymount University and Step Up nonprofit, where Samantha contributed to teen program development and nonprofit operations, respectively. Samantha holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Loyola Marymount University.
