Daniel Ortiz-Hernandez is an experienced municipal leader currently serving as Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager for the City of Ennis since January 2024. Daniel's previous roles include City Manager for the City of Webster City (July 2021 - December 2023), City Manager for the City of Wasco (September 2018 - July 2021), and City Manager for the City of Webster City (October 2016 - September 2018). Prior positions also include City Administrator for the City of Kimball (January 2013 - October 2016) and Management Analyst in the City Manager's Office for the City of Casa Grande (June 2009 - December 2012). Daniel began a career in public administration as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University School of Public Affairs (August 2008 - May 2009) after earning a Master of Public Administration in Urban Management from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Northridge, as well as additional education at Harvard Kennedy School.
