Mari Holben

Mari Holben serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator/HR Associate at the City of Erie, PA, since February 2024, focusing on HR policies and compliance with Civil Rights laws. Previously, Mari contributed as a Plus Guided Scholar at the Law School Admission Council (LSAC), supporting aspiring law students facing systemic challenges. Experience includes working as a Paraprofessional at Montessori Regional CS School District, an English Second Language Teacher at Wordsworth English, and a Teaching Assistant at Kenyon College. An internship at the Pennsylvania Interbranch Commission for Gender, Racial, and Ethnic Fairness involved research and legislative tracking on issues related to justice reform and equality. Mari holds a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Literature from Kenyon College, with additional study at National Cheng Kung University.
