Renee Lamis

Renee Lamis currently serves as the Chief of Staff for Mayor Joe Schember in the City of Erie, PA, a position held since January 2018. Previously, Lamis was the President of Dynamic Visions Consulting from October 2008 to December 2017, focusing on enhancing community engagement and economic vitality. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Research & Planning at PA Futures, overseeing community collaboration and policy decision-making. Lamis also directed the Master's of Public Administration Program at Gannon University, emphasizing experiential learning and ethical concerns. Additional roles include COMPASS Process Manager at United Way of Erie County and Associate Director at Leadership Erie. Lamis has a Ph.D. in Political Science from Case Western Reserve University, an MPA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a BA from Gannon University.
