Shane Rhodes

Shane Rhodes has extensive experience in transportation management and community engagement, currently serving as the Transportation Options Program Manager for the City of Eugene since January 2016. In this role, Shane leads initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to transportation and promote active modes of transport. Additionally, Shane owns Rhodeside Assistance, operates as an LCI Coach with the League of American Bicyclists since 2003, and previously managed the Safe Routes to School program for the 4J School District. With a background in advisory roles, Shane has also contributed to various committees focused on pedestrian and bicycle planning in Eugene. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Oregon.
