Scott Young

Scott Young possesses extensive experience in building regulation and management. Since November 2021, Scott has served as the Chief Building Official for the City of Fairborn, while also holding the same title at National Inspection Corporation since November 2013, providing certified building department services for multiple local governments in southwest Ohio. Earlier roles include Managing Principal at Smith & Young, Building & Zoning Administrator for the City of Loveland, and Building & Zoning Administrator for the City of Moraine. Scott began the professional journey as a Building Inspector for Greene County Building Regulations, where responsibilities included plan reviews and inspections for compliance with various building codes. Education was completed at Sinclair Community College.
