Nancy Lee Garcia

Nancy Lee Garcia, MLIS, currently serves as the Regional Librarian Manager for the City of Fort Worth since October 2022. Previously, Nancy held the position of Library Manager and has extensive experience in educational settings, having worked as a School Library Media Specialist and Dual Language Teacher for Fort Worth ISD from July 2007 to July 2021. Prior professional experience includes a role as a Marketing Content Specialist at CMP in late 2021 and as an Administrative Assistant at the American Cancer Society from January 2006 to August 2007. Nancy earned a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas between 2014 and 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Texas A&M International University, completed in 2005.
