William M. Johnson

William M. Johnson serves as the Assistant City Manager for the City of Fort Worth since September 2019, focusing on economic development and major urban projects. With extensive experience in city management, William has previously held key leadership roles, including Director of Transportation and Public Works, Managing Director at Witt O'Brien's, and Deputy Chief Operating Officer for the City of Atlanta. William's background encompasses significant oversight of multi-billion dollar budgets and infrastructure projects, as well as expertise in disaster management and public works operations in various municipalities. An accomplished leader, William holds a Master's Degree in Geological Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the University of Mississippi.
