Sue Byrne

Sue Byrne has over three decades of experience in the fire safety and building inspection field, having worked at the City of Fremont since February 1985, where current responsibilities include supervising a team of building inspectors. Previously, Sue held the role of Building Inspector Specialist, focusing on fire aspects of construction, and began a career in fire prevention at the Florin Fire District. Sue holds a Master's degree in Teaching and Learning with Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management, a Certificate in Fire Protection Engineering, and an Associate's degree in Fire Technology from various institutions, including Ashford University and the University of California, Davis.
