Brian England has extensive experience in public service and legal roles, serving as City Attorney for the City of Garland since November 2007, with prior positions including Interim City Attorney, First Assistant City Attorney, Deputy City Attorney, Senior Assistant City Attorney, and Assistant City Attorney. Earlier in their career, Brian England was a Police Officer for the City of Garland from 1993 to 1998 and held the position of Director of Judicial Affairs at Abilene Christian University from August 2001 to January 2004. Brian England earned a J.D. from Southern Methodist University, a Master of Laws (LLM) in Risk Management from Texas A&M University School of Law, and a B.S. and M.A. in Religion from Abilene Christian University.
