Michelle Higgins Stuyvesant

Michelle Higgins Stuyvesant serves as the Environmental and Community Outreach Coordinator for the City of Garland, focusing on educating residents and businesses about proper item disposal to enhance collection efficiency and reduce recycling contamination. With experience as a Department Representative II and Office Manager at G E Lawn Care, Michelle oversees customer databases, schedules service crews, and manages billing processes. Previous roles include Credit Analyst II at Lennox International, Senior Credit and Collections Representative for Boy Scouts of America, Credit & Collections Specialist at Carroll Company, and Director of Customer Service at Purple G Compressed Tees. An educator, Michelle also worked as a Campus Technology Assistant and Substitute Teacher's Aide in Garland ISD and has been involved in preschool education. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at The University of Texas at Dallas, Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs and certifications in Collections.
