Bobbie Thomas

Bobbie Thomas currently serves as an APS Community Evaluator at Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Bobbie worked as a Human Resources Assistant at BSI Solutions, Inc. from March 2022 to August 2022, overseeing the pre-employment process and onboarding new employees. Prior experience includes roles as an Assessment and Investigation Social Worker with Cabarrus County Department DHS and an Afterhours Social Worker with Mecklenburg County, where Bobbie focused on investigating allegations of abuse and neglect. Bobbie began a social work career at Franklin County Children Services, cultivating trust with children and families, and earlier worked as a Psychiatric Care Technician at The Ohio State University. Bobbie holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from DeVry University, a Graduate Certificate in the same field, a Master’s degree in Community Counseling from Wright State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Urbana University.
