Melissa Pecorino is an experienced marketing and community engagement professional with a diverse background. Currently serving as the Marketing & Community Engagement Program Manager for the City of Georgetown since October 2016, Melissa develops and implements marketing strategies for the Parks & Recreation Department, utilizing social media, news releases, and various design formats. Previously, Melissa worked as the Special Events and Marketing Coordinator for Keep Texas Beautiful from December 2008 to October 2016, where responsibilities included planning fundraising events and building sponsor relationships. Additional experience includes serving as a Meeting Planner at Apple Inc. and an Event Coordinator for the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Melissa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication and Spanish from Texas State University, with prior education at Lamar University.
