Scott Renton

Scott Renton has a significant amount of experience in the field of information technology. Scott began their career as a Computer Services Manager at James Watt College in 2000 and subsequently moved up to the role of Director of ICT Development. In 2009, they transitioned to Cardonald College, where they served as the ICT Manager for four years. In 2013, Renton became the Head of ICT at Glasgow Clyde College, a position they held until 2024. Currently, they are the Director of IT at City of Glasgow College.

Scott Renton attended Greenock Academy and Wemyss Bay Primary for their education. Scott has obtained additional certifications such as Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) from Microsoft in 2019, and IBITGQ ISO27001 Certified ISMS Lead Implementer (CIS LI) from IBITGQ in 2016.
