Director Of Economic And Community Development at City of Glenwood Springs

Hannah Klausman, AICP, serves as the Director of Economic and Community Development for the City of Glenwood Springs since December 2016, previously holding positions such as Assistant Director and Senior Planner. With experience as City Planner for the City of Rifle and Natural Resource Planning Fellow at the City of Cottage Grove, Hannah has developed expertise in managing development review applications and collaborating on watershed management. Additional roles include Peace Corps Recruiter at the University of Oregon and Executive Director for Buy Local Lincoln County Association, where operations and small business development sessions were directed. Hannah's early career included teaching English in Mongolia through the Peace Corps and interning with the U.S. Department of State. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Lewis & Clark College.
