Alexandria Droese

Alexandria Droese is currently a Financial Assistant II at the City of Grand Rapids. Alexandria has previous experience working as an intern at the Grand Rapids Police Department and as an assistant manager at Gleneagle Golf Club.

Alexandria began their career as an intern at the Grand Rapids Police Department in October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for assisting the public with filing police reports. Alexandria also worked at the report desk, taking reports either in person or over the phone. In addition, they were responsible for releasing vehicles that had been impounded, administering breathalyzer tests, filing traffic crash reports, and assisting the public with any general questions they may have had.

In May 2014, Alexandria began working as an assistant manager at Gleneagle Golf Club. In this role, they were responsible for cashing in golfers and attending to pro shop sales. Alexandria also assisted in arranging starting groups for busy weekends and tournaments. In addition, they were responsible for keeping the pro shop clean and user-friendly to the incoming golfers. Alexandria also worked at the snack bar, preparing different meal combos as the golfers requested.

In September 2017, Alexandria left their role as an intern at the Grand Rapids Police Department to become a Financial Assistant II at the City of Grand Rapids. In their current role, they are responsible for managing the city's finances. This includes preparing financial reports, overseeing budgeting and expenditure, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Alexandria Droese has a Bachelor's Degree in Legal Studies from Grand Valley State University.
