Chad Preston

Chad Preston has been a police officer at the City of Grand Rapids for over five years. Prior to that, they worked as a deputy court clerk in the Landlord Tennant Division for almost six years. In that role, they were responsible for processing and overseeing the Landlord Tenant Case Load, producing and reviewing all Landlord Tenant Judgements, and filling in for all Judicial Team members in their absence.

Chad is a highly-skilled and experienced law enforcement officer who has a deep commitment to serving and protecting their community. Chad is dedicated to their work and takes great pride in ensuring that justice is served.

Chad Preston received their Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Baker College of Muskegon. Chad also attended Kenowa Hills High School.
