Jordan Turner

Jordan Turner is the Economic Development Coordinator II at the City of Grand Rapids. Jordan has also worked as an Economic Development Manager at Louisville Forward and as a Programs Coordinator at Freeland Sportszone.

Jordan has assisted over 500 businesses with business planning, workshops, funding, networking connections, and location services. Jordan also helped to obtain $27 million in Community Relief Fund (CRF) grant funding for 126 businesses during the COVID pandemic.

In their previous roles, Jordan developed programming and activities to address economic development issues and community concerns, including exploring entrepreneurship and Introductory Workshop, Entrée-preneurship 10-week Food Business Accelerator Program.

Jordan Turner received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Northwood University. Their field of study was entertainment, sports, promotions, management, and economics.

They work with Christian Borg - Economic Development Coordinator I, Regina Pell - Economic Development Assistant, and Jessica Solis - Administrative Analyst I. Jordan Turner reports to Jonathan Klooster, Assistant Economic Development Director.
