Rodney Fulk

Rodney Fulk is a Utility Operator/Maintainer at City of Grand Rapids. Rodney has worked in this position since 2007. Rodney also takes and records readings, reports problems, and performs preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary. Rodney has also taken samples and run lab tests, performed corrective maintenance on equipment not operating correctly, and led workers on projects. Rodney has also developed training for new employees and processes, rebuilt pumps and motors, fabricated new tools as needed, troubleshot processes and equipment not working properly, created maintenance plans for new equipment, and trained new employees as needed. Rodney has also acted as supervisor when supervisors are on vacation or otherwise unavailable. When working in the field, they have also interacted with the public.

Rodney Fulk has a Master's degree in Cyber Defense from Dakota State University Graduate School, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Grand Valley State University, a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Ferris State University, and a Certification from the State of Michigan in Waste Water Plant Operator C and D License.

Denise Garcia - Waste Water Plant Operator I, Douglas Blanchard - Waste Water Plant Operator II, and Edward Milanowski - Waste Water Plant Operator II report to Rodney Fulk. They are on a team with Brook Davis - Plant Assistant II, Anthony Monterusso - Utility Operator/Maintainer, and Max Turner - Utility Operator/Maintainer.
