Chad Hetterley

Chad Hetterley is an experienced library professional with a robust background in library management and digital asset administration. Currently serving as the Assistant Library Director for the City of Grapevine since August 2018, Chad oversees various departments including Reference and Adult Services, Collection Development, and the Grapevine Public Library Esports Academy. Previous roles include Technical Services Manager at Desoto Public Library, where responsibilities encompassed managing the Polaris Integrated Library System and the library's 3D printing program. Chad's extensive experience in digital asset management originates from a role at Cambium Learning Group, focusing on the management of digital libraries and metadata standards. Chad holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Science in Information Science from the University of North Texas, and has developed a strong skill set in grant writing, technology administration, and staff management across various library settings.
