Paul Allen

Paul Allen, CRSP, currently serves as the Manager of Employee Health Safety and Wellness at the City of Guelph since June 2015, following a role as Program Manager for Corporate Health & Safety. Previous experience includes serving as the Safety Health & Environment Manager at Ecolab from August 2014 to June 2015, where responsibilities included overseeing safety programs, maintaining ISO 14001 certification, and conducting training in high-risk activities. Paul Allen was also the Environment, Health and Safety Team Lead at BlackBerry from May 2008 to July 2014, leading a team of safety professionals and developing safety policies at multiple levels. Earlier career experience includes a Health & Safety Consultant role at Hamilton Health Sciences and positions as Forge Crew Lead and Member at Patriot Forge Co. and Firth Rixson, respectively. Paul Allen holds a diploma in Human Resources Management from Mohawk College, along with educational credentials from the University of Victoria and Niagara College.
