Ted Ehrenburg

Ted Ehrenburg is an experienced municipal leader with a comprehensive background in government management and public safety. Currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Hackensack, Ted oversees various departments including budget, finance, contracts, and public works. As the CEO of Blue Shield Consulting LLC since 2000, Ted has specialized in municipal government advisory services. Previous roles include Business Administrator for the Township of Bloomfield and the Borough of Bloomingdale, where operational efficiencies were improved through total quality management. Ted's career in law enforcement includes a distinguished twenty-eight years as Chief of Police for the Washington Township Police Department, managing a team of fifty-six personnel.
