Wendy Webster-Zahnow

Laboratory Manager at City Of Hagerstown

Wendy Webster-Zahnow serves as the Laboratory Manager for the City of Hagerstown since March 2021, bringing a wealth of experience from previous roles, including Science Teacher at Warm Springs Middle School from August 2019 to March 2021, and Biomedical Scientist at USAMRIID from October 2017 to August 2019. Wendy's extensive tenure at USAMRIID also included positions as Research Microbiologist, Select Agent Manager, and Microbiologist from August 2000 to October 2014. Wendy began a career in research as a Research Assistant in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at West Virginia University, where the focus was on prenatal stress effects on the adult rat brain. Wendy holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from West Virginia University.
