Martha Mugler

Martha Mugler has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Martha currently serves as a member of the Hampton City Council, a role they have held since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive Assistant at Old Point National Bank, supporting the President of Financial Services/Chief Strategy Officer. Martha also held various roles at the bank, including coordinating boards and managing a collaboration website. From 2020 to 2021, Martha served as a Delegate in the Virginia House of Delegates. Martha was also a member of the Board of Directors at Virginia529 from 2017 to 2020. Earlier in their career, Martha was a School Board Member and Chairman at Hampton City Schools. Martha also worked at the Hampton Sheriff's Office as the Director of Administration, Civil Process & Court Services. Martha has previous experience as a Loan Officer at Cap First Mortgage and held various positions at the Hampton Sheriff's Office. Martha began their career as a Paralegal at Joseph Smith, Ltd. and Chandler, Franklin & O'Bryan.

Martha Mugler completed their high school education at Poquoson High School from 1973 to 1979. Martha then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communications at Radford University, completing their studies from 1979 to 1984.
