Akash K.

Akash K. has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and politics. Akash is currently working as the Director of Communications at the City of Hartford. Prior to that, they served as the Digital Coordinator for Desegregate CT and the Director of Communications for Gavi Begtrup for Mayor. Akash also gained experience in political campaigns, working as a Researcher for Jon Ossoff for U.S. Senate and a Communications Assistant for Hiral For Congress. Akash has also participated in training programs such as the Communications Cohort Trainee at the National Democratic Training Committee. Earlier in their career, Akash interned at the Office of the Attorney General of Connecticut and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.
