Marilyn E. Rossetti

Marilyn E. Rossetti serves as a City Council Member for the City of Hartford since January 2020, where responsibilities include chairing the Public Works, Parks, Recreation, and Environment committee and participating in several other committees. In addition, Marilyn has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Open Hearth Association since January 2011, overseeing operations and fundraising at the historic homeless shelter and recovery center. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director of HART from 2003 to 2010, where management encompassed strategic and financial aspects of the organization. Earlier roles include a City Council position from 2000 to 2003, during which Marilyn contributed to policy-making and conducted successful campaigns, and a long tenure at United Technologies Research Center, culminating as a Senior Engineering Assistant. Educational credentials include a degree from Hartford College for Women, completed in 1994.
