McKenzie Nelson

McKenzie Nelson currently works as a Recreation Assistant for the City of Healdsburg since March 2023. Prior to this role, McKenzie served as a Single Store Representative at Techtronic Industries - TTI from July 2022 to March 2023 and completed an internship in Parks and Recreation at the City of Yuba City from January 2022 to August 2022. McKenzie also has experience as a Front Desk Manager at Yuba City Racquet & Health Club from April 2018 to July 2022. McKenzie is pursuing a Master of Science in Recreation, Hospitality, and Tourism at California State University - East Bay, expected to graduate in May 2025, and holds a degree in Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management with a focus on Parks and Natural Resources Management from California State University, Chico, earned between 2020 and 2022.
