David K. has a diverse range of work experience. David began their career in 2003 as a Student Assistant at Nickel Engineering, Inc and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln MwRSF. In 2004, they worked as an EI at G.C. Wallace. From 2008 to 2013, they served as a Project Manager at James Gores and Associates. In 2013, they joined the City of Helena, Montana as a Transportation/Civil Engineer, eventually progressing to roles such as Interim Streets, Traffic and Fleet Services Superintendent and Interim Superintendent - Utilities Maintenance Division. In 2014, they became the Chief of the Marysville Rural Fire District and continues to work in that position. Most recently, in 2019, they became the Transportation Systems Director at the City of Helena.
David K. attended Montana Technological University from 2000 to 2001, however, it is unknown whether they completed a degree or field of study during this time. Following this, they studied at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2001 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
