Mark Prestwich

Mark Prestwich is an experienced City Manager with a comprehensive background in municipal administration. Currently serving as City Manager for the City of Hemet since February 2023, Mark has previously held City Manager positions in Palos Verdes Estates, St. Helena, and Nevada City. Earlier career roles include Special Projects Manager/Assistant to the City Manager in Sacramento and Assistant to the City Manager in Napa, showcasing a trajectory of increasing responsibility within city management. Mark's educational credentials include a Master's degree in Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from California State University, Fullerton. Leadership experience also includes participation in Leadership Sacramento and serving as President of the Municipal Management Association of Northern California.
