Keith Cooper

Keith Cooper is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in mechanical engineering and project management. Currently serving as an Engineer for the City of Henderson since December 2023, Keith has volunteered in various capacities with ASME-Silver State since 2012. Previous roles include Senior Maintenance Engineer and Mechanical Engineer at the Las Vegas Valley Water District from March 2016 to December 2023, where Keith specialized in hydro power systems and performance efficiency. Keith's tenure at the Bureau of Reclamation from June 2010 to March 2016 involved significant contributions to generator overhauls and facility reviews. Earlier career highlights include positions as Superintendent of Construction at Bentar Development and Richmond American Homes, as well as Sales and Marketing Manager at Dyno-Flo Racing Engines. Keith holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UNLV, earned between 2009 and 2012.
